So, I started this thread on the last forum before we lost everything and wanted to get it started again.

Who here lives in Houston?

Lets get a happy our or meet up scheduled. We can choose somewhere centrally located for us all, but I think it would be cool to get a group going.

The alumni association is supposed to be announcing a happy hour for August. I think I saw that David Casey joined the forum yesterday. We should all plan to go and meet up.

Weekends are going to be hard for me through the rest of football season. Going to make most of our away games this year and all of the home games.

There used to be a north Houston alumni association but I think it fizzled out. I was thinking somewhere near Kuykendahl and 99

Yea, that makes sense. Houston is so big that having regional groups is a good idea. When I moved to Houston in 2014 we had over 30K alumni here. You have to think there's more than that now.

I'll be at the game. Took a half day on Thursday, but I'm running out of PTO for the rest of the year so I didn't take Friday off. Going to be dragging...

I was living in the Loop for a while but just moved down to Manvel. I haven't been to one of the alumni mixers in probably a decade but they were fun to attend.
