Waco here! How about you? I have one other friend who lives in Waco that I know who went to TXST with me (but is not on this board).

I lived in Temple for several years, but eventually headed back to my hometown, Waco. The thing I liked about Temple better than Waco is it is about 30 mins closer to San Marcos! But it is hard to find others who are really supportive of TXST in this area.
My parents live in Waco! Love the Bobcats!
