Decided to give the girls there own thread, since they are likely to take the SBC title for TXST this year and give us valuable points to take the Conference Cup once again.

Currently in a Florida tourney with all top 100 programs.

In 8th place after 2 rounds, but ahead of #28 Oklahoma.

FYI, TXST is ranked #85 at the moment...

Girls just finished the conference championship in second place. The tournament was limited to only two rounds because of the weather. They led by eight or nine after the first round, but the rain the next day killed their chances while Coastal played well. I think with good weather, they might have gotten closer, but maybe an under par score will get them an at-large bid.

But, probably won't!

It does suck that the tournament was shortened because of weather.

Ladies are in San Antonio tomorrow and Wednesday at the Marby S. Kauth invitational played at SACC. 10 teams scheduled to play. Looks like this is the last tournament before SBC conference tournament in Daytona Beach April 17-19.

Women struggled a bit today. Sitting in 8th at 29 over par, out of 9 teams. Looks like Colorado State didn't make the trip. Round 3 starts at 9am tomorrow.
