Yeah, they opened at the start of the 2009 season. We played against UT and lost thanks to some generous help from the umpires.
Had to go check it out on Google earth after convo swung this was and that was my thought. Think looked super tall. The old main stands were SOOOO tall. Going up to the top of them you could see all the way across town almost. Saw lots of Bobcat Baseball from the top of that thing just because.
No doubt…man it’s been a long time since I was a student. We’ve come a long wayOh wow that takes me back
What reserved tickets? All reserved has been sold out season tickets last 2 years unless you buy from 3rd partyDang. Gonna have to be fast on the trigger to get those UT tickets... Im assuming one would have to purchase reserved tickets in order to actually be guaranteed to get a seat?
A grass berm could be an option if there is space. Turf it and zero upkeep. Maybe a few benches and some cardboard for the kids to slide on. Unlimited seats essentially just bring a blanket to sit on.
party deck like Georgia southern’s anyone? I think something like this would do well in SM.
Wrap one of these bad boys around outfield wall.. maybe leave an opening to attach temp bleachers in the event of hosting a super and could cram another 500-1000 people in
Well shitttWhat reserved tickets? All reserved has been sold out season tickets last 2 years unless you buy from 3rd party
That would be and awesome addition and finally an opportunity to catch some of the home runs that fly out to right field
