Based off of last year this is what I anticipate to see day 1.
- Kameron Weil. CF
- Davis Powell. SS
- Daylan Pena. 1B
- Chase Mora. 2B
- Ryne Farber. DH (Watch this Guy)
- August Ramirez. C
- Cameron Thompson. LF (Guess)
- Cade Manning. RF
- Ryan Leary. Or Alex Gonzales 3B
Toss Ups: Rashawn Galloway, Ethan Farris, Peyton Benesh

Lineup should be fun. Perfect Game listed Farber as the preseason Sun Belt freshman of the year. D1 Baseball listed Chase Mora as a 3B on their list of top players. Maybe that is an error but wonder if they think (know?) Farber won the 2B job over Leary/Gonzales at 3B and Mora is moving to 3B? I am curious and worried about the arms.
I think that he might have, I know last year that Leary/Gonzales at 3B always was a toss up. Maybe moving mora over and giving 2B to Farber or even Thompson could sure up the infield. The arms are my biggest concern also, bullpen will need to take a leap this year
Pretty reminiscent of what we had last year, expect a step up from a few. And… we might see mora on the mound
Tcu is a top 5 team this year but wasn’t a great showing back in October. It was 13-2 in the eighth.
Watched the media day today here’s some info provided by That’s aMora himself! Ryne Farber will be leading off, Alec Patino 1B will be in the middle of the lineup!
with that we have a very and I can not emphasize enough VERY deep lineup!
4-5 contact guys who will get on base 0 argument and great runners.
5 guys who can flat out smack the ball.

Lot of 12-11 games coming up?
Lot of depth on the mound, with that comes inexperience. Maybe at first offense will have to rake, but should look a lot better

What’s the pitching rotation looking like?
At Lead-off dinner they mentioned we have 18 seniors. Largest senior class in a long time if not ever.
They also introduced all the players with their walk up song. Pretty sure that’s when the freshman found out their walk up song. Poor bastards lol. One kid got the my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard song.. maybe he’s a pitcher and not expecting to see the plate much if at all
Patino at 1B and in the middle of the lineup will be interesting with Pena. Think we could see a platoon with Patino starting against righties and Pena against lefties at 1B. He led Ohio in BA/OBP/SLG last season (anyone over 15 ABs), committed three errors (Pena 8), plus only struck out 25 times. Pena likely the favorite to DH most of the time? Ramirez catches vs righties, Galloway/Bernal vs lefties.
Clueless on arms. Really need Massengale to work some magic. Starters in some order?
