edit: apparently this is a Twitter issue, and it's happening globaly.

Question on starting "duplicate" threads. I can't see the threads people on my ignore list create, so are you going to be ok with those threads being duplicated?

I believe if a duplicate thread gets merged with someone you have ignored, you can still see the thread. To my knowledge it's only happened once or twice.

Now that twitter has officially changed to x, you may want to check with the forum software folks and see about an update there as x posts don't embed.
