Been getting this quite a bit over the last couple of days. Only site with that error message, so don't think it's the connection or firewall. Anyone else seeing the same? Usually goes through after a couple of refresh/F5. Win10/Chrome

Hmm, that's concerning. I'll check it out while I'm at lunch today and see if I can find anything that might be causing it.

Threads that have new posts are no longer bolded for me. Is that something others are seeing as well, or am I on my own here?

Weird. Works correctly on my windows computer w/ chrome browser, but not on my apple w/ chrome.

@LTK5H I couldn't find anything that changed on the backend. Maybe clear your cache on the iPhone and see if that helps.

I really want to do an overhaul of the forum at some point. Hire professional developers to fix some of the issues and make sure everything is running smoothly.

It's a Macbook, not an iphone, and it is brand new so it can't be a cache issue. It's not a big deal - just another datapoint as to why I am an anti-Maccer. Appreciate you looking though.

Any ideas why my Instagram links aren't embedding? I feel like they have in the past, and I know others have posted ones that embed, but the last couple just come in as links.

No idea. It might be because it's a reel and the software was written before reels came out. I'll see if I can find anything in the backend.

Y'all might want to check on the elves. This started happening last night, and again today (on different computers). Took me ~20min and easily 2 dozen refreshes just to get to this page to post it.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it. We have an unusually high number of spammers trying to create accounts right now. Maybe that's part of it.

I went through and deleted a ton of spam accounts and profile posts. Hopefully that cleared it up. All files have been scanned and came back clean too. The only server log errors we're getting are too many connections every now and then. Probably all the spam accounts trying to create profiles.

Site is suuuper slow for me today. Even getting the error message that it can't connect, server taking too long to respond.

Yeah, that's it.

Last 2 times clicking in took 10+ s to connect and got this both times for a flash before it connected:

I work nights and sleep during the day. I'm not having problems with the sight right now.

@LTK5H are you still having issues? I can check the log and reach out to our host to see what's going on.
