Unpopular opinion....however this is year two of not donating and not buying season tickets.
Lawrence still thinks that this is just a matter of football wins and losses....
He is convinced that everyone will come back once we start winning in football. Sorry, but not sorry. I'm still holding out my money for the day they announce that Lawrence Teis is relieved of his duties. Then and only then will I give back a windfall of money to my beloved university.
Your opinion is not nearly as unpopular as you think. All I can say is to write a letter to Trauth and let her know why you are leaving.
Me? When I gave up my donations and tickets, I wrote a letter to both Teis and Trauth. Trauth's letter said I'd gladly come back and even double my donation if certain things were done or if Teis was removed (I'll give a new guy a chance to show they get it. Teis has to prove it to me that he finally gets it). The letter to Teis is that my donation is ready and willing to go back if he can start... you know... being a competent AD and being involved with the university.
Didn't get a response. Don't know if they even read it. Can't control that stuff. But I did my part. I'm not asking for my pittance (I was donating I think 2,500/year at that point) to grant me keys to the kingdom or anything. I just wanted to see simple things like... An AD that interacted with fans. Showed some excitement for the university. An advertising approach beyond trying to milk the existing donors. The opportunity to buy Bobcat season tickets as a Christmas gift. That kind of stuff.
And I still hold to that: Fix what's wrong, and I'll come back. Fix it by either getting a new AD or have the existing one be someone that appears that he gives a flip. Not an AD that is a ghost to the players and every fan without a last name of "Fields", who doesn't even know what's going on with press conferences, leaves games early, and avoids social media.
