Lot of fight only to drop the set 24-26. Hope we didn't use it all up. Headed to 5. :mad:

Dang it! Thought they were gonna pull it out.
I agree about Fitzgerald, she's had that tendency her whole career.
I think our hitters try to muscle shots through the block instead of looking for open spots.

We seem to get into tendency ruts, and between HCSH and 17, I'm not sure why that is. It's not like we don't have middles that can swing, or legit weapons on both sides of the court. It's not like there aren't tons of examples (and I'm betting legit data) showing we're at our best when our attack is varied - both tempo and hitters.

Much harder than it needed to be. Fitz w/ a pair of blocks to close us out!

Really hope Emily didn't re-injure her shoulder. She didn't appear to be paying it any attention during the last TO, but she kept her arm down and only high 5ed the crowd w/ her other arm after the match.

Yep, they stretched us to the limit. Hope they learned not to overlook a team based on their record.

Next week against Troy should be a great match.

Jillian says they put in a different defense this weekend, so that may explain a little bit.
