Agree. I watched it on TV and I had zero confidence that Westlake would win until we got into the 3Q and a little breathing room. The swapped turnovers late made me pucker right back up too.

Welp, that lack of quality at QB finally bit Westlake in the ass. Just couldn't make plays from the position, and it was the difference in the game. Hell of a run from the Chaps: 7 straight Final Fours and 3 State Titles

That Westlake defense is really good. I’m not going to throw the sophomore completely under the bus. Play calls, and a missing Cal commit at left tackle hurt. There were missed throws for sure. The last few series had some play calls/schemes that put the QB in a bad position against an ELITE CB. North Shore is really good. I don’t know if anyone beats Duncanville, but North Shore should make it a good game.
