I wish NET/RPI rewarded away wins and penalized home losses more like RPI does for baseball. That could help to get better home games. Nobody wants to leave home if they don't have to, there's just no incentive to unless its to get paid.
Agreed, especially with how significant the home court advantage is in college basketball.

Texas Lutheran's website shows us hosting the Bulldogs on Tuesday, November 5th. It's an exhibition game for TLU, not sure what it will be for us. On further inspection, it appears that may be a doubleheader with both the men and women hosting TLU that day, according to their website.

If you've gotta host a D3, they're a fine choice—TLU men and women both won their conference tournament this past spring.

November 5th is the first day of the regular season so that's probably the regular season opener. How exciting....

Worth noting that volleyball has home games 11/8 and 11/9; the first weekend of the regular season, so don't expect any home action then. Volleyball home regular season finale is Friday 11/15. A Saturday hoops game could be possible, scheduled around football vs. Troy.

Now that I think of it, I do recall a volleyball/basketball DH a few years back. It doesn't take that long to take down the net and bring in the goals. Suppose that could be a possibility.

Also, we are hosting the Sun Belt Volleyball Tournament 11/21-24, so there will be no home hoops that stretch as well. In light of the volleyball schedule, I would expect men's and women's hoops to be road warriors in November, hopefully paired with good homestands in December.

Hosting Prairie View on 12/3.

I think the schedule will be released in the next few weeks. It usually is in August I think.

What we know now:
Home games:
Texas Lutheran
Prairie View
UTSA
Away games:
Air Force
UNLV
Baylor
SMU

That leaves about 6 remaining we don't know about.
