Too late now, but we should've started, or gotten the word to the university to start a fundraiser to purchase tickets for students. They are already doing the bus shuttle option.Looks like we will have the lower bowl sold out and maybe 1/3 to 1/2 the upper bowl. But sounds like fans have been buying the home side too. I think it'll be pretty good crowd for being in DFW and students aren't free.
For the most part, students have been really apathetic about the team. About the only ones who have said they were going where the ones living in Dallas who went home for the holidays.Too late now, but we should've started, or gotten the word to the university to start a fundraiser to purchase tickets for students. They are already doing the bus shuttle option.
I recall that same 59 point buzzsawBarring a miracle, South Alabama woodshedding Eastern Michigan. Which means the SBC moves to 3-7 in bowl games, but more importantly for TXST…Kinne picks up a win vs a team with a winning record.

Yet their announced bowl attendance is still 2nd among the 11 SBC bowl games behind Armed Forces featuring a service academy that has a national following in most every major metro area.Sad to see, for South Alabama, so many empty seats at a bowl game at home.
but they could airbrush the ink off a couple of the chickadees.
looks like we have the highest attendance among G5 vs G5 matchups not playing a service academy. (the 8th overall of bowl games featuring G5 team assuming the ducks still travel to Tempe despite coming up short on playoff).
To be fair, Memphis played a home game.
Edit: Toledo ended up selling more tickets and Memphis destroyed our ticket sales.
Home game with double the capacity at nearly 60K.To be fair, Memphis played a home game.
You obviously haven’t come across Memphis fans on the SBCbbs site where they have acknowledged that they’ve struggled with home attendance all season for a program that had P5 aspirations. 35K was their season high attendance and that was only against team that won a NY6 game last season. To be fair, Memphis played a home game.
