Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. If the conference deems us co-champions, good for us, but granted, that shirt is misleading.

14 all at end of 1Q. These bobcats are really penetrating the paint on these Jukes going full speed, actually pretty fun to watch. Nice to see us post up some and get rebounds too, that seems to be a forgotten element in MBB.

JMU shooting something ridiculous like 6 of 8 or 7 of 9 with 3 balls right now. They look a lot more composed in live action than our MBB probably does playing around the world from outside the arc.

The post season woes continue for major sports. Since 1997 just 1 WBB, MBB, or FBS football post season trip (2003 WBB 50-86 loss vs LSU was the last). So 0 for 48 in post season tries since 2003 for WBB, MBB and FBS bowls. It feels like we are perpetually doomed but maybe that's just a bit dramatic, however, the statistics say so. I'd imagine we are the only current SBC member not to have done so in either of those 3 sports since 2003...

Maybe the issue is just that our coaches don't get us into the conference championship game for MBB and WBB enough and for football, well..

MBB was abysmal until Kaspar took over and even that took a while to turn that ship around. Now it seems to be headed the wrong way again.

Football qualified for bowls twice and got screwed.

But yeah it is really hard to have such long streaks of missing the big postseason stuff.

WBB is going to be bad again next year. This was the one shot.

Brutal is pretty spot on. I mean JMU has hardly missed but our defense is likely playing into that quite a bit too. Had a 6 point lead in the 4th quarter last time we met with JMU and now a blowout, yeesh.

I will add that it is unacceptable for the teams to have such long streaks. It isn't like we play in good basketball conferences. The SLC and SBC are terrible and it should be easier to do. Being a one bid league sucks but the new SBC teams do care about basketball and it will only get harder now.

Net rankings in our group 3 region. All things considered probably fortunate to be invited to the not invited tournament (and to get the 6th best team in the region) considering 19 net ranked Oregon will play in another bracket.
