Depends if it’s rookie minimum money vs practice squad money. If it was at some P5s I’d lean toward the former. Both are astronomical, but the former is typically life changing.

Did the AD ever actually announce or say what secret NIL deal we had that was supposed to be unique in our conference announced during the Meet the Coach in Austin at the Dogwood last year?
There is a donor that allocated a small % of a large donation to "NIL" activities but this allocation is really meant to test how NIL payments get pushed through the system and is not a formal/ongoing NIL program. Cliff's notes- we have no meaningful NIL program right now.
There are multiple groups organizing a formal NIL collective right now. They are all early. I suspect a few will consolidate their efforts and go public soon.

Just curious why the collective(s) are some what closed door/secretive; would it not benefit the collective to be public?
I don't think anyone is trying to be secretive, very early stage right now.
I hate cruises but I'd go on one for TXST NIL.
