Obviously I’m being facetious implying that Layne Hatcher is better. What I am saying is ULM didn’t exactly light up the World last season. Comparing a 4 star highschool QB backup who only started one game in the SEC to someone who had a losing record in the sunbelt isn’t exactly fair or helpful.

His only other FBS opportunity closed yesterday when LaTech took Boise State’s QB. I guess Martinez is betting on himself and taking the PWO at Baylor. He’s a talented Austin-area kid but I think he is likely a G5 talent.
