I feel like this is a big test for KD and DC. They e shown they'll give the boot to guys that were hired before them and didn't perform. But Johnson is well liked as a person and was given an extension. The school was just celebrating him. Not sure how long of a leash that gives home with this administration.

Game underway with a 10am tip. The quartet of players are still at the end of the bench not dressed out. Good start early as Morgan knocked down back to back 3s

Morgan banks in a three to end the half. 40-31 good guys. Threes are going in for Morgan. We are the more athletic team and have looked pretty good in transition and crashing the boards. Still pretty sloppy with the ball and only 2-4 from the FT line. One with three fouls and three with two, so we’ll see how foul trouble plays out.

TJ was given an extension b/c he’s a good coach and recruiter. He put together a solid coaching staff too. Where did all this TJ bashing come from? I’m so confused…

just called us Texas Tech, can't keep player names straight, can barely call the score correctly

Nice how the regular season conference championship isn’t discussed…or conference coach of the year, or that we were injured the entire season last year…but forget all that and keep cookin’ chef😏

You know what Bob Marlin, Rob Lanier and Dustin Kerns have in common? They all won the Sun Belt Tournament, and none of them were Coach of the Year.

Coach of the Year has as much value as Regular Season Champion.

He seems to have done a good job with the portal this year, but as he himself said during the season preview interview, this will be the first year that there are no players or coaches from the previous regime on his staff. From here on out, results are 100% on him.
