If that is the case, what would keep Spav from saying so?Coaches are extremely competitive by nature . . . They ain’t in it to lose. The only way this makes sense to me, is if the decision was made at a level higher than SPAV, and SPAV had no say in the matter.
Still, even under those conditions, why not just resign (if you’re SPAV)?
It could be bad for his reputation if he gave in to the pressure created by a donor/parent or was trying to leverage that relationship to keep his job. He’s trying to get a high 6 figure job on the open market so there is no way he would want anything like that out there. If that is the case, what would keep Spav from saying so?
You have been awarded Critical Thinking Skillz points. If he did, I’d be shocked . . . most Coaches don’t want to surrender Autonomy (How’d the OC work out under SPAV) . . …
And IF he did, makes him look Weak (IMO). … reason enough not to talk about it.
The fact that he Never played a Back Up though . . . sure is perplexing.
You’ve been wrong before, huh? You must fix this now! With him being out, attrition may not be that much anymore. We have a good roster here.
That sounds juicy.Maybe that was not the only path in which influence was garnered. That's all I'll say.
