IDK we're still in kind of dire need of LB/secondary until proven otherwise. Hopefully he is now eligible to transfer in.

Exactly, same. Like I thought this guy left when Spav left too. Neither of which were on 2023 roster but maybe still enrolled as student?

He wasn’t on the team so he wasn’t on scholarship. Sounds like the scholarship he was gonna get went to Chase Main.

If this is accurate then why would txst have submitted his paperwork to transfer as it states above?

dang i thought a free education was tied to actually being on the team. we talk about pay for play this right here is scholarship pay for not even being rostered. how does taking an entire year off from football look to portal seekers?

Lots of conversation about someone that had no intention to suit up in maroon and gold. the "portal" Shows Charles Brown CB, Derrick Brown LB, Marcus Alexander IOL, Valenzuela, Foster and a few others have requested out of San Marcos. So far so good we have not lost any major contributors and with the new portal rules anyone can transfer as many times as they want as long as they are in good standing.
