Has Chandler Morris already signed with UNT? I wonder if that’s the QB target if he’s able to come to TXST instead.

Other than the Tulsa, SMU and UA connection with Kinne it's also interesting but less relevant or noteworthy that Rutherford came into Bay City HS 2 years after Morris left and Tyler Jones came into Stephenville 2 years after he left there.
I’m far removed from what this eight week thing is but looks last day to add classes was the 24th. Maybe March 5 is a date someone new could come in? I’d imagine an invested president could approve a certain exception if one were to arise

I wanna say he was similar to de Laura in that he was the starter at the beginning of the season but lost his job. So I guess good enough to start at a P5.
We don't need good. It's plug-n-play.

I wasn’t a huge fan of his at the P5 level but I think he could have a good amount of success in G5. Somewhat mobile, undersized QB.
In 5.5 games before his injury last year:
1,532 passing yards, 12 TDs, 5 INTs
250 rushing yards, 5.5 ypc, 3 TDs
Pretty solid numbers in P5. I think he’d work well in Kinne/Leftwich’s system.

It's actually one of the simpler offenses to learn.
Not at all true, otherwise Hornsby would have been our QB1.
