Kinne just posted a slide show of him & Chad Morris on his IG story. Seems pretty official.

Should be interesting to see how that coaching dynamic plays out, in terms of actual playcalling and overall offensive philosophy. Morris has always been more pass forward, and Leftwich would rather have a dual threat QB he can use as a running threat. Guessing Leftwich will keep the OC title, Morris will be the passing game coordinator and Shoemaker the run game coordinator.

Reviewed the Morris staff at Arkansas. Smith coached DBs at Arkansas and is followed by a few of the TXST staff on twitter. Complete speculation but could be a name to watch for the vacant DC position if the trend continues.

go internal because that route never went down hill before. side note: think for a non head coach it may be an alright decision as giving up 33 ppg was not sustainable last yr to chase bigger dreams ie ccg.
It likely had to be someone on the staff since we had not heard much about any other coaches. Now, means we'll need a DB coach to go with the Gregg.
Considering early signing period and mid-year players, we got some defensive players... that was telling the players knew who would be DC.
